As a Legal Secretary, you will play a vital role in supporting our legal team by managing day-to-day administrative tasks and ensuring workflows are executed professionally and efficiently. Responsibilities include drafting and formatting legal documents, managing calendars, coordinating court filings, organizing case files, answering phone calls, and communicating with clients, court personnel, and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, and capable of balancing multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. You will contribute to the overall success of the firm by helping our attorneys maintain structure, meet deadlines, and deliver exceptional service to clients.
Qualifications
High school diploma required; Associate’s degree or Legal Secretary certification preferred
2+ years of experience in a legal secretary or legal administrative role
Knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and document formatting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems
Strong typing skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information
